Zap Deals [video review]

Today I’m doing a review of Zap Deals.

Zap Deals is a Deal Page Creator that create high converting scarcity driven deal pages in just under 60 secs. At least that’s what the creators say.

The whole idea behind Zap Deals is to let you create deal pages in a split of a second. As we all know, time is money, and if we can save time, then we are saving money, and we have time to invest in our other projects.

First let me show you the possibilities of Zap Deals and then I will let you know what I think of it. I think the result will surprise you 😉

Let’s start with the Zap Deals members Area

The members area is nice and clean, and it’s clear how everything works.
What I like about this backend is that the bonuses offers and the partner’s offers also are being stored in the left menu. Many times when you buy an IM product you have to go to separate places to download this.

The whole process is clear. You have two options; you can select a Deal page, or you can select a Thank You page.
After choosing the Deal Page, you have 29 templates to choose.

If you want to preview the pages first, you can click on the “view page” button, and a small image will pop up from the selected page. In my opinion, this has no added value because the popup and the thumbnails are almost the same sizes.

Editing a Zap Deals page 

After choosing your template, you can edit the page within the build in editor.
It differs per page what you can modify. For example, some have social icons, and some don’t.
Editing is simple. Just click on the areas that you want to change and modify it with a text editor.
You can also change the images that are on the page, but this I will discuss later.

Every page has a call to action button. You can choose to implement your autoresponder code here. When a visitor clicks the subscribe now button a full-screen popup will show where your visitors can grab their deal by leaving their email address.

However, while writing this review, I bump into a problem that there is no possibility with my chosen template to integrate my auto responder.

Normally when I select the Enable option, an empty field shows up where I can add my auto responder code. This time I only have the possibility to redirect the button to another page, and that is a missed opportunity for me to capture a lead. This is probably a program bug. After reloading the template, it showed up again.

So what do we have more?

The good thing of Zap Deals pages is that it has a built-in scarcity option on all pages. The psychology behind this is that visitors will buy much faster when they see a timer on a deal, and time has proven that this works.

Furthermore, you can change some extra options like SEO, Styling, entering your product quantity and adding your Buy button link.

Zap Deals Analytics
Don’t expect too much from the Zap Deals analytics tool. It’s a very lightweight tool that tracks the amount of visitors that have visited the deals page. If you want more, then I have to disappoint you, there is no option to add your Analytics to the page.
And that’s pretty much it. Fast and easy…

But what do I think of Zap Deals?

You know, the hardest thing to do, is to be honest when you review a product where you get commission over when it’s being sold through your link. But that’s how I am, I want to give you an honest review before you buy. That’s my added value for you as my followers.

Probably you think, well, so far so good… And that’s what I also thought when I heard of Zap Deals. It all sounded great, but when I started to use it, I ran into too many problems. The biggest one was replacing existing images.

When I tried to replace a picture I bumped into the problem that it duplicated my uploaded image. Then the worst thing happened; I could not undo my actions!! This means that I had to delete my Deals Page and create a new one from scratch! Auch! And it was strange because sometimes it duplicated the inserted images and sometimes it didn’t.

Also, the outlining of the images didn’t work. When I replaced an image and I aligned it to the right, it just didn’t work. The only option I had was replacing an existing image and change the height and the width, what also didn’t work sometimes. It took me a lot of time to get the page the way I wanted it to be.

And that’s not all – Exporting Deal pages

Also when I exported the Deal Page, I noticed that the export was messed up. I really couldn’t upload this to my server and drive traffic to it.

So I tried again and exported it for the second time.
Now it even got worse, and it got really messy.

And I bumped from one problem into another.

* Some social icons on selected deal pages couldn’t be changed,
* Actions could not be undone,
* Images couldn’t be changed and outlined quickly,
* Autoresponder codes could not be imported,
* Exported file was messed up
* Bad quality help videos
* Etc, etc.

All in all, too many problems to rate this product as a good product for now.

Conclusion
Where there is advertised with:”Zap Deals is a Deal Page Creator that create high converting scarcity driven deal pages in just under 60 secs” it took me more time to get the page the way I wanted it to be. To me, Zap Deals is too inflexible, but thats just personal. Of course I understand the concept of getting a done for you page, but I keep repeating that it is too inflexible for me.

Personally I would have loved to some changes in this, but maybe when the product evolves those changes will be made.
